Not much to blog about lately; sorry to the 2-3 people who check in every month or so. Stuff has been happening, but nothing I'd want to bore anyone with.

We'll probably be staying home for Christmas this year. Our reason is all the snow that is and that will be. *shrug*

Met the mayor of Cleveland yesterday. I wondered why she was being so nice, then I remembered I'm a registered voter.

My cousin sprained the crap out of his ankle playing dodgeball, or so I hear...he'll be off of it for almost 2 weeks. 2 weeks! He's a damn tank normally. He just isn't built to move like that, I guess...which is why he'll spend the time off his leg on the things he normally does anyway: playing MMO games and watching TV.

Or maybe his powers are going into remission. Mine appear to be doing the same thing. I barely register as an upperhuman right now. Oh well, there's always "crisis mode".

Did a spell check after I typed the above...didn't change anything, but just in case. I finally decided to tell blogger.com's spell check that "blog" is a word. *triumphant pose*

Took the laptop in today. Surprisingly, the guy was very helpful, no effort to pass the blame onto me or anything. Such things do happen, apparently. I should be able to get it back with plenty of time before school starts, which is why I waited this long in the first place.

Well, I have to run. See you bastards later.

Taking my faithful laptop in to the warranty place tomorrow. I wonder if they'll fix it or just give me a new one. I've backed up "important" stuff in case of any eventualities. If I had hope, I'd say hopefully everything will turn out ok. But since I don't, I'll just say =/

Haven't blogged in a while.

Finished my last exam of the chronological year today; next semester doesn't start until 1-10. Between now and then I have to get a few sequencing class issues fixed, take my laptop in to be fixed, go to some dumb "Breakfast with the mayor" event, visit my relatives for Christmas, and...and a couple of other things.

Should be plenty of time.

I was just browsing at dell.com - don't laugh, it could happen - and reading the list of things on my university's "recommended list" as it was on the Dell site. It included some pretty uneducational things, like an MP3 player. *shrug*
