Oh, Blogger says I posted that at 4:00 AM, but it's lying. It wasn't really that late. Or early. Don't get me started again. I actually posted it at 7 my time, Blogger is using PST because I'm too lazy to change it. Really, I could, I saw the option and everything. =/
Man, it's early. Or is it late? Who knows these days. You know, someone should impose a standard on what constitutes "early", "late", and many other indefinite words in the English language. Sure, words like "few" are understood. At least, in some contexts. When used to describe a specific quantity, "few" is generally accepted as meaning "three". However, in its indefinite sense, "few" can be almost any non-zero number (Even the indecisive creators of English diction refused to let "few" be used in place of zero, as evidenced by any composition that uses the phrase "few, if any").
There was another part to this masterpiece of modern logic, but I seem to have forgotten it. I hate it when I forget something, but remember that it was something important, useful, witty, or otherwise desirable to remember.
Wait, I just remembered. It was an extension of the first paragraph. Here goes.
Another thing that should be defined by the standards for English is the border between "some" and "many", as well as its brethren, "a lot" and...well...I can't think of any other brethren right now. My brethren hunting skills are flawed. But I'll try to stay on topic. If I had one to begin with. hmm. Anyway, the border between "some" and "a lot" is ill-defined and very subjective. It is the cause of a lot of miscommunication between individuals.
I realize that such indecision and tactics such as leaving a statement open to interpretation are sometimes important. Hell, I could talk - or type - for hours about the latter. Well, maybe not hours. Then again, two hours is hours, right? Plural. Two hour
s. It's not my fault if you expected three or more hours.
Hmm, I just noticed that this thing has "Archives" now. That makes it seem like it has a lot more continuity than it does. If that makes any sense at all. I should probably stop using custom definitions of words, but standard English isn't enough all the time. ;[
I haven't updated in nearly a month. Such is the nature of my use of things like this, I rarely stick with any of them for long. Well, I do, but not with any regularity, as this post may or may not demonstrate. hmm.
Today is my brother's birthday. As a combination birthday/Christmas present, I got him a bottle of Orange Crush. Never had the stuff myself, so I can't elaborate.
More stuff going on, but nothing anyone who would bother to check this would care about. And even if they do, I don't feel like talking about anything in progress as what I say may be true now and false later.
Speaking of later...
