No Use For A Title

A collection of various media old and new created by me. Whoever that is.

Today went pretty well. Had plenty of time to do nothing between classes. Ran into Mr. R later in the day. Still seems as cool as ever. That only leaves a few faces missing from my writing class last year.

The writing classes have smaller numbers of students; to allow the professor to learn your style, I suppose. We did a little "get to know you" type thing, in which each of us had to describe someone else in the group. I had the distinct honor of being described by the teacher's assistant. Some guy working on a doctorate. He seems like an ok guy I guess. But he's no Mr. R. Then again, Mr. R was quite a character.

Anyway, he opened his minute with "Mr. (my last name) seems like a very private man..." I must disagree. I was simply apprehensive due to being in a cramped room with so many people. I'm not claustrophobic, but I like having room to stretch. =/

Started learning - well, reviewing - in Economics and Computer Science. Had my first writing course for the semester. I'll have to use my shortened day tomorrow to take care of the homework I've let build up over the past four days. None of it seems particularly hard.

There was this girl in my new writing course...Rebecca. No, not that Rebecca. She's no Nina, but damn, who is? Don't get me started on that yet. I was so disappointed to hear that she had a boyfriend. What else? Oh yeah. There was this guy in that course too, Zack. I was so disappointed to hear that he had a girlfriend.

...

Just kidding. =/

...

...

His name wasn't Zack.

...just kidding again, damn.

First week is almost over. =/

Chemistry man brought his katana again today. He also brought a European sword, and waxed philosophical about them for a while. It made sense, but I am uneasy when someone wielding a katana is near me. Maybe it's from some trauma I suppressed. The class itself is ok though. He injects interesting moments into the otherwise dull procedure. I guess chemistry just isn't my main interest here. =/

We may take advantage of the 3-day weekend (We get Martin Luther King day off...) and visit our family in the hills. I don't know which ones. It doesn't really matter. If we do, it will give me a chance to get my camera back, I left it down there.

I think I've been putting too much strain on my right knee. I don't feel pain (ever, really), but I do feel that something is wrong with it. The effort needed to move it a specific distance has increased slightly.

When I am better I'll probably try to become the machine I was two years ago. I guess eating only half as much pizza each day won't kill me. =/

Year 1, Semester 2, Day 1 complete.

...maybe I'd better just stick to looking at it day by day, if at all. Looking at it the way I did above reminds me of how far I have to go.

Only three classes today, and I saw at least two people in each class I recognize, and at least one I know. PE class with Zack and Nina. That should be interesting.

Nina was more cute than hot today. I think my old weakness is finally waning. (If you don't know what that means, don't feel left out. I can't think of many people that do)

What else? I guess that's it. My monthly update, as they say.

Whoever they are.

Edit: Oh, how could I forget? The Chemistry teacher this semester is a bit out there. [He has tenure, though, so it's ok =x] He brought a katana to class today to demonstrate a use of steel. uh-huh. He tried to say it wasn't a real one. uh-huh, part two. "You know, weapons aren't allowed on campus, but I asked (points the blade forward) the dean, and she said it was alright."

heh.
